Plans and billing
Flat per machine, never per minute, and free for work in the open.
The three plans#
| Plan | Price | For |
|---|---|---|
| Free | $0 | Public repositories on any account, on up to two machines. |
| Personal | $10 a machine a month, or $100 a year | Private repositories on a personal GitHub account. |
| Team | $20 a machine a month, or $200 a year | Private repositories in an organisation, with pools, trust tiers, roles and an audit log. |
Which plan you need#
GitHub decides: a personal account subscribes to Personal, an organisation to Team. Nobody is asked who commits. Without a subscription or trial, only your public repositories route to your machines; a private repository's jobs run on GitHub-hosted until one is active. Nothing is ever blocked.
How billing counts#
Never per minute. An invoice counts the machines connected at the end of each day, averaged over the period, so a machine connected for ten days costs a third of a month. Both paid plans start with 14 days free and unlimited machines, no card needed. Cancel any time; the plan runs to the end of the period. A first invoice is refunded within 14 days if no job ran. The list prices of every vendor are on the pricing page.
